Cristiano Ronaldo agrees to extend Al-Nassr contract as he snubs potential Neymar link-up at Al-Hilal to remain 'highest-paid player in football history'

Cristiano Ronaldo has reportedly agreed an extension to his contract at Al-Nassr, with the Portuguese remaining the “highest-paid player in history”.

    WHAT HAPPENED?

    The five-time Ballon d’Or winner added that title to the many others that he already owns when agreeing a move to the Middle East in 2023. Ronaldo is working on terms in the Saudi Pro League that are said to be worth £173 million ($211m) per season.
